Let's talk about clutter.
Let's take a moment to appreciate how much we can gain by letting go of things we no longer need. Sometimes, it's hard to let go of our possessions because they represent memories or emotions. But if we hold on to everything, we'll never make room for new experiences and growth. It's time to acknowledge the amount of time and stress we spend managing our stuff. But instead of feeling guilty or ashamed, let's focus on what we want to create in our homes and in our lives. Repeat after me: "I am capable of decluttering my home."
Take 10 minutes each day to declutter a small area of your home. It doesn't have to be perfect, just start somewhere. As you go through your possessions, ask yourself if they bring you joy or if they serve a purpose in your life. If not, it's time to let them go.
Don't forget, this process is not about perfection, it's about progress. Celebrate each small victory and feel proud of yourself for taking steps towards a more organized and stress-free life. Get you a note book for your thought downloads and allow yourself to think through whatever comes to mind what a, WHAT IF perspective. WHAT IF it can be WONDERFUL!
Do you ever wake up feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts and worries? Maybe now more so that we are talking about clutter. We are digging up the moments and memories that are easier to push under the bed. It's a common experience, but there's a simple solution: take control of your thoughts and feelings. One way to do this is by taking a few minutes each morning to write down everything that's on your mind. Don't worry about grammar or punctuation, just let your thoughts flow onto paper.
After you've completed your thought download, take a moment to reflect on what you've written. Is there a common theme or pattern? What can you do to address any negative thoughts or feelings? By examining your thoughts and feelings regularly, you can gain control and create the life you want. Where can you bring calm to your home, to you as a the Daughter of a King, and maybe even to your family.
But controlling your thoughts and feelings isn't just about writing them down. It's also about connecting with God and seeking His guidance and love. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Take a moment each day to pray and connect with God. It doesn't have to be perfect or elaborate. Just a few heartfelt words can make a world of difference.
Starting your day with prayer can set the tone for your entire day. It's a powerful tool for centering yourself and inviting God into every aspect of your life. You acknowledge that you can't do everything on your own, and that you need His guidance and help. Prayer can help you find peace and calm in the midst of chaos. It can give you strength and courage to face whatever challenges come your way.
So I encourage you to take a few minutes each morning to write down your thoughts and feelings, and then connect with God through prayer. You'll be amazed at the difference it can make in your life. Remember, your thoughts and feelings are powerful, but you have the power to control them. Take charge and create the life you want with decluttering what surrounds you to allow beauty to come in.
As you start this journey, remember that you are capable of making healthy choices for yourself to declutter your meal planning - maybe to bring calm to the end of the day.
Before we start, I want you to repeat after me: "I am good at meal planning." Say it again, louder this time! You have the power to create healthy habits and make changes that will benefit your well-being.
Let's start by planning your meals for the next few days. Take a deep breath, and think about what you would like to eat.
Write down your ideas, and feel proud of yourself for taking this first step.
Remember, this is not about being perfect.
It's about making progress towards a healthier lifestyle. If you find yourself struggling, take it one day at a time. You CAN do anything for a few days! Try it out to see if you ease weekly clutter in other spaces.
