
This is one of our absolute hands down family favorites! We love to bring these to parties! We've never had leftovers, lol! If you've never cooked with dates before, then you're missing out! A natural, whole food that works well as a sweetener, like raw honey. They're one of my top choices if you're wanting something sweet, but not totally derailing your progress. These are really great for celebrating guilt free.
Ingredients:
Pitted Dates
1 lb natural msg free breakfast Sausage
1 package of Bacon (pick some without added sugar)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375. Slit the dates lengthwise, cut the bacon strips in half. Stuff the dates with about a tablespoon of sausage and wrap a bacon strip around the outside. Place in a glass baking dish, and cook for around 45 mins, depending on how crispy you like your bacon, being careful not to burn the tops or bottoms. Enjoy!
